AUSTRALIA’S TOUR OF INDIA- This series against Australia marks some significant impact on the coming world cup 2019 this year. Two T20I and 5 ODI’S will be played between Australia and India.
Here big news coming related to the All-rounder Hardik Pandya that he will not feature in the upcoming home series against Australia, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Thursday 21 Feb 2019. Pandya has been ruled out of the series of limited overs against Australia due to lower back stiffness.
To complete the squad Ravindra Jadeja could be replaced Hardik Pandya in this ODI series. Still the squad of One Day International (ODI) only has announced while there is no replacement was announced for the T20 International, for which India will now have a 14 members squad which is without Hardik Pandya.
BCCI said I’m it’s release that Team India All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Australia that will be played till IPL.
As the problem Mr. Hardik Pandya faces was lower back stiffness “The BCCI medical team of doctors have decided to rest the all-rounder. Let him undergo strength and conditioning work for his lower back at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangaluru.
The coming series Australia’s tour of India is scheduled to commence on Feb 24, 2019. This series comprise of two Twenty20I’s and followed by a five-match One Day International series.
Pandya, along with opening batsman KL Rahul were earlier suspended and sent back home mid-way during the Australia tour after their comments on a popular chat chow were termed misogynistic and created a furore on social media.
While Hardik was recalled during the limited-over series against the Kiwis, Rahul recently made his return to the Indian squad for the Australia series.
