Hardik Pandya shares his inspiring journey from a young fan to a member of India’s 2019 World Cup squad
On Friday, Pandya took to Twitter to share a nostalgic moment when he cheered for Team India after 2011 World Cup. Glory along with his current photo with teammates MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and Jasprit Bumrah.
“From cheering and celebrating India’s World Cup triumph in 2011 to representing #TeamIndia in World Cup 2019, it has been a dream come true #CWC19.” Hardik wrote as caption for the throwback photograph.

Hardik Pandya Chilling With Teammates in England and also shared his memories
Earlier, the all-rounder was seen chilling with India World squad in an event in England ahead of the warm-up game against New Zealand at Oval on Saturday.
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is gearing up for his maiden appearance in a 50-over World Cup. Hardik was pick up as the first-choice all-rounder in India’s 15-man squad for the quadrennial global cricket tournament. Starting May 30 in the United Kingdom.
Hardik who reached England along with Virat Kohli’s Team India earlier this week took to social media to share a photograph of his young self from 2011. Hardik is “celebrating and cheering” for MS Dhoni-led side along with his friends.
Cut to 2019, Hardik is posing with MS Dhoni, the hero of India’s 2011 World Cup triumph. Dhoni, 38, is India’s first-choice wicketkeeper at World Cup 2019.
Hardik went on to shine in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament in 2016. He top-scored for Baroda with 377 runs in just 10 matches.
Hardik Pandya made his international debut in January 2016 during India’s tour of Australia. The 25-year-old all-rounder grabbed eyeballs with his performance for Mumbai Indians in his maiden Indian Premier League season in 2015.
