Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma was fined 15 percent of his match fee played on Sunday. Rohit Sharma broke the Code Of Conduct in their game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Expressing his frustration after being given out leg before wicket, the batsman hit the stumps with his bat at the non-striker’s end. He was charged under Level 1 of 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct.
KKR defeated Mumbai Indians by 34 runs and broke the order of losing six consecutive matches with this win. On the other hand, MI Skipper Rohit Sharma has accepted the blame 2.2 of Level One of the IPL Code of Conduct.
In the second match of the Super Sunday yesterday, a high scoring match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata was seen, due to the smashing innings of Andre Russell (80), Kolkata scored a huge 232 runs in 20 over.
In response to this goal, the Mumbai Indians innings was not as significant as the team played. Hardik Pandya played a stormy inning, but the other batsmen did not do anything special and due to this Mumbai lost this match.
