Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, the two star players of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They got together to thank fans for supporting the team ahead of RCB’s final match in IPL 2019. Ahead of RCB’s last match, Kohli and De Villiers not only thanked the RCB fans but also apologised for the “up and down performances” and hoped to finish the season on a high. RCB have a tough time in IPL 2019, losing their opening six matches this season. And despite an improvement in their results in the last seven games, RCB failed to reach the last four of IPL 2019.
De Villiers said Kohli is putting a lot of effort and energy to keep the side in good stead in the training sessions and hopes he scores a lot many runs in the remainder of the IPL.
Asked whether he and Kohli feel the pressure when other batsmen fails to score runs, de Villiers said: “It is normal to feel pressure because we are international players. However, I don’t feel extra pressure, I don’t think Virat feels it either. We have a team of match-winners and it is up to us to share the load.”

ABD – RCB fans, thank you so much for the support throughout the season, you guys are incredible. Virat will agree to the fact that the last game with the rain, it was only a 5-over game but one of the most memorable games in my life and it wasn’t even the result. Thanks to you guys.
Kohli – One game left for the season, it’s been disappointing for us and for all of you but as we do every year, we are going to come out and do everything next season to turn it around.
ABD – Sorry about the up and down performances, we are hoping to finish on a high. Please keep supporting us, it keeps us going. Hoping something special is coming in the last game and next season.
Kohli– This has to be a special message for you all because even after three hours of a game being washed out, you still sit in the stadium and give us the loudest cheer when we walk out to bat. It’s special and It’s always going to be special in our hearts and minds. Thank you for being the best fans that you are.
